Our Approach to Nutrition
My journey into nutrition began unexpectedly. I had always envisioned myself staying in Australia to pursue a PhD and work as a professor. However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought me back to India, where I faced the challenge of starting over in a country where dietitians often aren't given the respect they deserve.
Working in various health tech startups and conducting research made me realize that women are often expected to follow the same nutritional guidelines as men, despite having different needs.

Over the years, I've helped over 1050+ couples and women on their journey to health, pregnancy, and motherhood. Now, through Nourished by Soumya, I aim to make a difference in the lives of many more. Women tend to lose weight more slowly, and many over the age of 30 face difficulties with their first pregnancies due to career-focused lifestyles. To improve their lifestyle and pregnancy outcomes, I decided to start Nourished by Soumya. Women with PCOS and endometriosis often struggle to understand what worsens their condition, and I wanted to address that gap.

We are dedicated to providing personalized meal planning and lifestyle adjustments based on evidence-based practices. Our unique approach integrates dietary preferences, nutritional education, and continuous support to facilitate healthy transformations. We specialize in fertility, pregnancy care, chronic issues, women's health, and offer a range of podcasts and blogs to provide valuable insights and support.
